CIRA College offers a variety of scholarships and fellowships designed to help you and your family pay for college. Scholarships and grants are types of gift aid that do not have to be repaid.

Scholarship Sources

President's Scholarship

The President’s Scholarship is awarded to secondary school graduates who demonstrate academic accomplishments.

Creative Scholarship

The Creative Scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate outstanding artistic achievement. 
 

Canadian Scholarship

The Canadian Scholarship is awarded to students who hold valid Canadian Passports.

President's Scholarship (Full Tuition)

Requirements

  • A minimum 90% final admission average is required for consideration. An applicant's average is calculated with their best six Grade 12 courses, or their home country's equivalent.
  • Canadian Citizens, Permanent Residents of Canada, Protected Persons in Canada and International Students are eligible to apply for this award.
  • Application deadline is June 1st, 2020 at 11:59 p.m./Pacific Standard Time. Please note that applications will not be accepted past the deadline date under any exceptional circumstances, which include technical difficulties.
  • The scholarship will be awarded by deducting from the total tuition. The admission team will make the decision based on the validation of evidence submitted to prove eligibility.

Creative Scholarship ($7,500 CAD)

Requirements

  • Submit a digital portfolio with a maximum of 5 images that you consider would help support your application. Digital portfolio should evidence a range of creativity in drawing, painting, photography or graphic design.
  • Application deadline is June 1st, 2020 at 11:59 p.m./Pacific Standard Time. Please note that applications will not be accepted past the deadline date under any exceptional circumstances, which include technical difficulties.

Canadian Scholarship ($6,000 CAD)

Requirements

  • Provide a personal statement which responds to the following questions s part of your Canadian Scholarship application (maximum 1000 words) describe why you want to study the program describe how receiving the scholarship would make a difference to you
  • The scholarship will be awarded by deducting from the total tuition. The admission team will make the decision based on the validation of evidence submitted to prove eligibility.

Are there scholarships for international students?

CIRA College provides scholarships for Canadian students, indigenous students, mature learners and international students enrolled in our full-time programs.

How do I apply for a scholarship?

All eligible students are automatically considered for a scholarship when they apply to the program. However, there are limited scholarships available, we suggest students apply as soon as possible.

What does the scholarship cover?

The scholarship is designed to help the student with the cost of books, school supplies and other expenses related to their education at CIRA College.

How will I receive my scholarship payment?

Payment for a scholarship is applied to the student’s total tuition after registration is confirmed.
